Mr. Michael Vierra		 I was born and raised on the island of Maui. I first attended the University of Hawaii where I was working my way towards a degree in computer sciences. After one year I decided that I really didn't like my major, so I transfered to BYU where I began studying sports medicine. After a couple semesters I again realized that it wasn't for me and I eventually found myself in the Taylor O McKay School of Education where I eventually graduated. I graduated from BYU with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a Minor in TESOL (ESL). I currently attend the University of Phoenix Salt Lake Campus where I am getting a Masters in Curriculum Integration. In my free time I enjoy playing and watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Utah Jazz, and BYU Cougars. I have been married for about five years now to my wife Jessica, and we have a son named Kayden, and we are expecting a little girl in late July. Working at Monte Vista Elementary has been a great experience. The staff, students, and parents are so awesome.

Miss Ashlie Anderson
 I graduated from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah and I am currently working towards my Masters in Education. I have been teaching the 1st grade for 4 years and have had the great pleasure of teaching at Monte Vista Elementary the entire time. I love teaching at Monte Vista because the students, parents, faculty, and staff are amazing to work with. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and little Yorkie puppy Milo. I enjoy being outside in the summer months and you can often times find me lounging around a pool. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, reading, and doing yard work.
